Twelve reels stop at once, and three lids start to lift. Endorphina built a 4x3 grid with no paylines to count, 96.04% RTP and a Bonus Game that pays up to 1,400x your total bet.

Lift all three lids at the casino
What Endorphina actually built, and the fastest path to a real session.
Four reels, three rows, twelve positions that each spin on their own, and three chests waiting above the grid with their lids half open. The 3 Golden Chests slot is the kind of release you can read in a single screen, which is rare for a game carrying a 1,400x ceiling and a Hold and Win round with fixed jackpot tiers. Endorphina shipped it on 3 September 2026, and the short version is this: 96.04% RTP, high volatility, and prizes that sit on the faces of the symbols until the Bonus Game collects them.
Classic on the outside, twelve separate engines on the inside. The artwork is kingdom, chests and coins in a medieval castle setting, all warm gold and heavy timber, and the frame is a compact 4x3. Then the reels drop and the illusion of a classic breaks in a useful way: each of the twelve positions turns as its own reel, so the screen resolves as a picture rather than as a set of lines crawling left to right. A “nearly there” line is not a thing this game can show you. Either the centre row has what it needs or the next spin starts.
That structure explains the rest of the design. With twelve independent reels a left-to-right reading would waste the frame, so Endorphina went to scatter pays: a symbol counts where it lands. The money is printed on the symbols themselves and paid inside the Bonus Game, which is why the base game feels less like a slow drip and more like a board filling up.
Search for the name and you will meet a small crowd of look-alikes: chest-themed titles from other studios with numbers in front of them, plus Endorphina’s own Fortune Chests releases, and several video-game wikis that own the bare phrase. This page is about one game only, the Endorphina slot released in September 2026, and the numbers below belong to that build and no other. Our full review gives the presentation and the round structure a verdict.

No paylines to count, and that single decision changes how you watch a spin. The game pays by scatter, so what matters is what is on the grid when it stops, not how the symbols queue up. Four regular symbols landing in the centre row is the geometry to watch for, because that is the Bonus Game opening.
The prize model is just as direct. Money symbols carry their value on their own face for the stake you have selected, and those values are cashed in the Bonus Game. Change the total bet and every face redraws with it, so the grid is its own pay table: what you see on the symbol is what that symbol is worth to you right now. Anyone used to hunting for a paytable screen will find the game has already put the answer on the reels.
Two symbol families do the heavy lifting, and they behave differently depending on where you are in the round.
| Special symbol | What it does | What it is worth |
|---|---|---|
| BONUS symbol (main game) | Carries a printed prize and counts towards the Bonus Game | 1x to 5x the total bet |
| BONUS symbol (Bonus Game) | Same symbol, wider range once the round is running | 1x to 10x the total bet |
| STICKY symbol | Main game only: locks its position and holds its value | 5x to 10x the total bet |
| BOOST (red chest) | Hands its own prize to every BONUS symbol on the grid, then goes | 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x |
| MYSTERY (green chest) | Turns over at the end of the round and pays what it was hiding | 100x, 50x, 20x, 7x or 10x |
| COLLECT (purple chest) | Adds up the prizes of every BONUS symbol while they keep their own | the grid’s running total |
STICKY symbols come with one rule worth knowing before you touch the bet selector: they hold their position while the total bet stays where it is. Move the rail and they stop sticking and leave on the next spin with their multiplier intact. Pick your stake, then let the grid build. The how to play page walks the control row button by button, AUTO and TURBO included.
Watch the lids, because they are where the round is decided. The chests sit above the reels holding special symbols of their own colour, and when the Bonus Game opens each chest decides independently whether to take part. None, one, two or all three can light up, and the triggering symbols have no say in it. Every chest that does light up puts its special symbol into the round.
BOOST is the multiplier. Its symbol carries 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x the total bet and hands that amount to every BONUS symbol already on the grid before disappearing, so it is worth most on a board that is already filling. MYSTERY is the reveal, held back until the attempts are done: it turns over for MAX at 100x, MID at 50x, MIN at 20x, or a regular 7x or 10x. COLLECT is the accountant. It sums the prizes of every BONUS symbol on the reels while leaving those symbols holding their own money, and each COLLECT symbol fires once.
The round itself is a clean Hold and Win. You get three attempts, every new symbol that lands sets the counter back to the top, and the round closes when the attempts run out or when all twelve positions are covered. Then everything on the grid is added up at once. Inside the bonus the BONUS symbols run from 1x to 10x the total bet, against 1x to 5x in the main game, which is the real difference between a spin and a round.
On top sit four fixed tiers: ULTRA at 1,000x for a full board of twelve collected BONUS and special positions, BOOST excluded from that count, then MAX at 100x, MID at 50x and MIN at 20x. Fixed jackpots, not a shared pool, so you know exactly what each one is worth before you spin: at a 1 total bet the ladder reads 20, 50, 100 and 1,000, and it multiplies straight up or down from there with your stake. The features page takes every trigger, effect and value one at a time.

96.04% is the long average; 1,400x is what you are chasing. The first number is the theoretical return of the game itself, with the optional card gamble sitting outside it on its own 84% average. The second is the ceiling on a round, and the provider’s own material goes as far as 1,500x, so treat that pair as one figure with a little room in it.
Volatility is High, and the published hit frequency of 2.78%, about one spin in 36, tells you what that feels like in practice. This is not a game that trickles. The money is concentrated in the Bonus Game and under the three lids, so the rhythm is patient stretches of base game followed by a round where the whole grid settles at once.
Put a stake under the numbers and they stop being abstract.
| At a total bet of | A 10x BONUS symbol pays | MIN 20x | MAX 100x | ULTRA 1,000x | The 1,400x ceiling |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.1 | 1 | 2 | 10 | 100 | 140 |
| 100 | 1,000 | 2,000 | 10,000 | 100,000 | 140,000 |
Two things follow from that table. The first is that the ULTRA tier is not the same thing as the ceiling: 1,000x is what a full board of twelve collected positions pays, while 1,400x is the most a single round can return once BOOST, MYSTERY and COLLECT have all done their arithmetic on top. The second is that every figure here scales in a straight line with your stake, because all of them are multipliers of the total bet rather than fixed cash prizes. Ten times the stake is ten times the tier, exactly, at both ends of the rail.
STICKY symbols give the base game its own arithmetic in the meantime. Each one lands carrying 5x to 10x the total bet and holds its place while the stake is unchanged, so at a 1 total bet a pair of them is already worth between 10 and 20 on a board that has not opened a round yet. Move the bet selector and they stop sticking, leaving on the next spin with their multiplier: one more argument for setting a stake and staying on it.
There is one optional extra layer, and it pays to know it before you meet it. After a paid round the Risk Game offers a card gamble: pick one of four face-down cards against the dealer’s, and a win doubles the payout, up to ten attempts deep. The Joker beats everything and never lands on the dealer’s side, an equal card simply repeats the attempt, and TAKE WIN steps out at any point. Its average return is 84%, which is why this page treats it as a flourish rather than a plan.
The bet rail itself belongs to the casino. It starts at 0.01 at some tables and climbs to 250 at others, because the operator and the currency set the steps. The panel in the game shows the exact rail of the casino you open, which takes about five seconds to check on the first screen. Our RTP and maths page turns all of this into a full stake-by-stake table, and the strategy page turns it into a session plan, Risk Game included.

Choose the venue, not the game: the game arrives unchanged. Same 96.04%, same twelve reels, same three chests, same fixed tiers. What changes around it is the welcome offer, the payment methods, the speed of a withdrawal and whether there is an app you actually enjoy using.
Endorphina has held an MGA supplier licence since 2018 and has been supplying regulated markets since 2022, including the Portuguese market from August of that year, with federal certification in Brazil, supplier registration in Ontario and a licence in Alberta as its fifty-ninth jurisdiction. That is a fact about the studio behind the game, and it is a good reason to trust the build. The licence that matters for your money, though, is the one in the footer of the casino you sign into, so open a table through the button, read that footer and then spin. The where to play page lists the five things worth checking first.
Play from a phone and nothing changes: desktop, tablet and phone all run the same build straight in the browser, and an unfinished round is held for seven days on your account, so a session started on a train can be finished later. The app page covers the casino app for Android and iOS. If you would rather browse sideways first, the similar slots page lines up the closest alternatives, the head-to-head with Mighty Crown puts two compact gold grids against each other, and Endorphina’s catalogue has the rest of the studio. Whatever you decide, the responsible gambling page is the one to read before your first real spin.

Four moves, and the whole round is in front of you.
